Brand New Nighttime Spectacular Will Dazzle and Captivate Imaginations

Six Flags Great America is thrilled to present the premiere of igNIGHT — Grand Finale, a mesmerizing and immersive nighttime spectacle bursting with energy, brilliant visual effects, live singing and dancing, pyrotechnics, fireworks and pure imagination.

igNIGHT – Grand Finale is set in Chicago and takes the audience on a journey utilizing cutting edge multimedia elements. It is the biggest and most advanced show in the park’s 37-year history and features high definition video mapping technology, advanced audio, plus guest interaction that is sure to delight audiences of all ages.

igNIGHT – Grand Finale will premiere in summer 2013 and will take place in the evenings right before the park closes because there’s no better way to end an adrenaline-filled day at Six Flags Great America than with a big bang!

igNIGHT – Grand Finale brings together 6 high definition projectors, 120 pyrotechnic rounds launched nightly, over 30 performers, over 150 costumes, a set that towers 6 stories tall and 75' wide, over 30 projection planes that make one dimensional video appear 3D and over 100 lightening fixtures to add atmosphere. “igNIGHT — Grand Finale is the largest show of its kind in the world and surrounds guests with this multimedia universe allowing them to interact with the show. It’s a phenomenal production,” said park president Hank Salemi.
