Looney Tunes USA: Kids' Play Land

Big thrills for little guests

Six Flags Over Texas introduced Looney Tunes USA a full 11 years ago, on March 22, 2001. In this sprawling kids section located near the park's front gate, little thrill seekers can enjoy an array of exciting attractions — just their size.

A family place

Themed after the world-famous Time Warner Looney Tunes™ cartoon characters, Looney Tunes USA is a place for kids and their grown-ups to meet and greet their favorite Looney Tunes characters and enjoy family rides and attractions together. It features themed presentations of the popular Looney Tunes characters, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, and Tweety.

Rides galore

Kids can experience a wide array of smaller-sized flying, swinging, twirling, and whirling rides — in the air and on the ground. On Bugs Bunny's Spirit of St. Louie, pint-sized pilots take flight in brightly colored biplanes, controlling the plane’s elevation using a hand-held lever. Small riders can ride the swings on Michigan J. Frog's Tinseltown Revue, themed after the top-hatted Hollywood frog; twirl inside miniature oil barrels on Yosemite Sam's Texas Tea Cups; and soar on Sylvester & Tweety's State Fair-Is Wheel, a scaled-down version of the classic Ferris Wheel. On TAZ's New York Adventure tower ride, they can scale the heights of a kid-size Empire State Building — then bounce down to a gentle landing.

Touring and blasting

Speedy Gonzales' Truckin' Across America provides a scenic tour across Looney Tunes USA, with Speedy Gonzalez at the controls. In a different transportation mode, Looney Tunes Capital Tours takes small passengers on a crazy bus ride, with Daffy Duck at the wheel. For a ride on the wilder side, Wile E. Coyote's Grand Canyon Blaster — a vibrantly colored, kid-sized roller coaster — delivers thrills for kids and parents alike.

Looney Tunes Dance Off

From June 9 through August 19, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety, and their Looney Tunes pals will serve up their best in dance and song. Young show-goers delight as their favorite characters compete for the top spot in an uproariously amusing dance competition. After the show, kids can meet and greet the stars and have their Kodak pictures taken with their favorite characters — for a memory that lasts long after their day at the park.
